Frequently asked questions
How much is the event? We are asking for a $100 donation for an hour with the kittens or $150 for two hours. This can be a donation from the company or raised from the employees. The funds go directly back to helping kittens get spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and cared for.
How old are the kittens? The kittens will be assessed to make sure they are old enough and healthy enough to travel, roughly 7-12 weeks old.
Can I adopt a kitten? We will bring applications, but the kittens may not be old enough to be adopted at that time.
What if someone in my office is allergic? We recommend placing the kittens in a conference room or kitchen area that can be easily cleaned and away from people’s work spaces.
Do I need to wear anything special? No, but as kittens have very sharp claws and teeth, don’t wear anything the can be easily snagged.
Can we donate items as well? Yes! For kittens, we need good quality clumping cat litter, grain free cat and kitten food, and toys. Gently used beds, towels, and sheets are useful as well.
