How do you get your pet’s rabies tag?
For dogs/cats 16 weeks and older, please access your records and download your rabies certificate. You can then email, mail, or take that to your county animal control and pay for a rabies tag. Each county does it a little differently, so please look at what they want on their website. The most common are link below.
Vets are not allowed to give rabies vaccines to puppies and kittens under 16 weeks, so you will need to see a vet to get that any other appropriate vaccines and they can then help you get a tag.
